Our Name

Siloam Pool Care draws its name and inspiration from a miraculous biblical event, where a blind man was healed through the power of Jesus a the pool of Siloam. In the ninth chapter of the Gospel of John, Jesus and His disciples saw a man that was blind since birth. He told His disciples that sin was not the cause of the man’s blindness, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. Jesus spit on the ground, made mud with the saliva, and anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud. He then told the man to go wash in the pool of Siloam and the man received his sight.
